Hello,

what is - in your oppinion - a good strategy against base offense? Think of the opponent playing this strategy & having a monster center.

Thanks!

For each team, every tactic will look different, focus on shooting, defense, rebounding and flow ratings. In your case, outside offense/inside defense will most likely work best.

From what I have read, the best tactic for Base Offense is Man to Man. If your question is pertaining to you Finals match then I suggest you go ahead and play 2-3 because I don't think your bigs can out rebound your opponent's bigs. His team rebounds the ball extremely well, which will allows him to stay in the game. His back court doesn't look as strong as yours so I encourage you to continue running your Motion offense. Gameshape and Enthusiasm are gonna be big factors in who wins the finals.

if the center really dominates try to set ur best defenders against his best passers so it would limit the times the dominant center gets ball. it would result in less shot oportunities and less domination. If the center doesnt shot like 14/20 averagely then concentrate ur best perimeter defenders against best shooters.
