Interviewed 8 guys with 4 or 5 star rating, none had 5 potential. Oh gosh is it because I am in a small country?. Side question: if I don't get promoted, will I stay in the same conference next season or will it reset conference?

Being in a small country has nothing to do with the the draft its all random. You will stay in the same conference.

What i can say in 9 past drafts i only seen 1mvp player cant complain tho. drafted some wonderfull 55-65 skillpoint superstars and perenial allstars.

Also statistically there is usually 18year old mvp caliber player over 2700 salary every 2nd draft. i got these statistics being lithuania u21 scout few seasons(scouted 682 leagues) ago so mvp caliber players are way rarier than you could thought. But people keep expecting few of them every draft...

2 seasons ago I got 2 MVPs and a Superstar with my draft picks. There were 2 other guys in the draft with Superstar + potential. All3 of mine were 19 but they can turn up a bit.

It is common as was pointed out the drafts are much worse than people seem to think. Always the $6,000 HoF players people remember but the 41 $2,000 guys with 6th man potential it is easy to forget.

For example this season I have spent a fortune scouting the ABBL draft and there is one amazing 5/5 18 year old, the next best is a 4/4 then you are looking at 5/3 or 3/4 as the 3rd best 18 year old in the draft.

It is just so frustrating to not uncover any 5 potential talent...

I cant provide links, which i dont have but iv seen people drafting like 2 legendary guys with 3+k salary along with mvp or superstar beast with like 4+k salary:D and iv seen leagues where there was nothing worth u-21 scouting at all i mean NO STAR PLAYER above 3500+ or perenial allstar above 3k or mvp 2700+'

The problem is people see some lucky guys than you and in they think i am better than he is so i should get better drafts than he had. But in reality in wont happen cause average draft is really shitty. But on the other hand i have built my team around 3 perenial superstars and 1 superstar, also drafted mvp caliber player only with like 35 skillpoints but i am happy. i am promoting to div 3 next year and gona compere there for a title with 5 home grown players on a starting lineup:D

82games.com statistical site of nba has nba draft analysis there it seems like in reality players becomes less skilled than we expect (http://82games.com/nbadraftpicks.htm.). So not in bb people but in a real world think that draft should be exztatic. but i dont think there will ever be draft like 2003year was. Or atleast this cant happen each season. 2-3-4 decent guys with 4balls 4 balls are Average.

Both very decent players Sometimes it happens you can choose the best player in the draft with 16th pick like i did it before while drafting norvaisis.

I was inclined to put the big man first, but at 7'1 something tells me he's going to have terrible secondaries and end up a wasted pick.Hopefully he's waiting for me in the second round :D
