My team does not have HCA and is admittedly the weaker of the two teams. However,my opponent's best DMI guy is injured for game 1 and I have better game shape than he does. I also think my enthusiasm is better but can't be sure.

So do I CT game 1 and try to eek out game 2 when he gets his guy back or do I normal game 1 trying to get a mega enthusiasm boost for games 2 and 3 but having to beat his full lineup twice?

Both team's not in very good GS. If you say you got better enthusiasm then him, then you should go for it. But if you don't think you do, you COULD PON Game 1. and then in Game 2 and 3 CT. But thats just me

Looks like you need to CT the first game for sure and play M2M instead of your zones you have been playing, then if you win you need to try and CT your home game and do it in 2 (after training Game Shape on Friday)

It's a big ask as both of your teams don't look like you have an understanding of just how much GS management means in this game, you are lucky you are in a finals series against a guy who doesn't get it, this is not usually the case, and won't be as you progress upwards.

I had my GS up to strong and proficient on most of my team but screwed up my last scrimmage. I accidentally went with my default lineup and got way too many minutes on everyone. Bad timing for that to happen, I know.

Did you train GS last training day? I have had to sacrifice last week and this week in order to assure a win.

Nope, I had already beat my QF opponent twice while playing TIE so I figured I was safe. Then the #2 seed got upset and #3 went CT so I figured I was safe there too. I'll see the results of game 1 in the finals and try to decide off that whether I need to GS on the last week or not.

BTW, why would you not do a 2-3 zone vs. an obvious LI offence?

2 3 zone can be hit and miss. It is a gamble and if it works you only get a small boost to stop LI. But if they have good passing they get the ball to the guys inside with more ease with less def stopping the passes in.

The only time to top teams use a 2 3 is if they have little chance of winning regardless.
Pick the top side in any league and see how often if at all they use 2 3 even with 90% of teams playing LI.
Just checked 15 games from the top team in Australia the last few season who got as high as 6 world ranking from memory and he never used 2 3 in those games. NEVER.
Check out any successful team and I think you will find the same result.

You won in spite of the fact you played 2-3 imo. If you had played m2m you would have won in regular time by alot more.
