Hi,i have seen in the last seasons a thing that started to happen almost every year and in a lot of leagues...a team that is in the playoff suddenly get some very high pay players(2-3 players of 100K-200K salary)in the last 1-2 weeks and then have a big advantage on all other team and most of the time if not for a sudden injury they "walk" to the championship easily...that became a tactic i have seen a lot and i hate it,it ruins the fun of the game and almost each year about 3 teams do that.
I want to suggest that like in a lot of places the deadline for signing players would be a lot sooner the before the playoff,the start of the third league round when you meet your house teams after the games against the other house teams seems perfect for that,that way the best TEAM will win and not the best opportunist...there is a reason for that deadline in reality and it should also exist in the game as we seen people exploit that it dosn't.
As teams are rewarded for all the season battles with the bonus of home court(if they finish in 1 place)they should know that the team in 4 place that would likely payed less salaries during the season wont surprise by suddenly getting a 800K salary payroll in the last week when they paid all the season 300K-400K.
The only option for all the players in the game if the situation remains is to use that tactic themselves if they want a chance to win...and that would make this game not realistic and kind crappy(forget my for the word but i cant find a better word to tell the felling i get when i think about that situation occurring each season over and over...).
I want the best team to win,not the one that manged to land most big names in the last sec,i want the game to have deadline rules more like the real world,gibing a drop in game shape is not near to bring good enough to negate that advantage,players should be in a team for more then 2 weeks just for the playoff,maybe my suggest is not the best solution BUT this problem need to be solved fast - as it getting worse each season so far...
