I have a player who has a Jump Shot of inept and a Jump Range of mediocre and who is 7'2" and has been shooting well over 40% from the 3 line. I have a 7' player who is shooting just above 40% from beyond the arc for the past two season who has a JS of Strong and a JR of inept.Conversely, I have a player who has a Wondrous JS and a Strong JR who is only shooting 30% from beyond the arc and a player with a prolific JS and prominent JR who is shooting 28% from downtown. One difference is the Game Shape, both are Mediocre, whereas the former 7 footers are both Strong. The Wondrous JS is 6'4" and plays Small Forward. A bit small for the position. But this doesn't seem to fully account for the disparity. Otherwise, I'm just not sure why this is happening.Thoughts?
In BB, it's easier to make a shot with a bad defender guarding you than it would be to make the shot if it's open.
