I'm currently experiencing my worst FT shooting season ever exactly one season after triumphantly recording my best FT shooting season ever. This is with primarily the same roster. Thinking FT rating must only be a vague indicator of FT shooting ability, I decided to track all my players I've had, or brought on, since Season 21 (the last time I trained FT), and see if their FT rating really makes any difference.

Lo and Behold, here are the results combining their FT shooting and grouping them by FT rating.

Average - 71.8%
Respectable - 69.2%
Strong - 73.8%
Proficient - 79.5%
Prolific - 79.9%

Besides the disconnect between Average & Respectable (by the way, the sample for Respectable isn't very high), this actually lines up pretty good, and is not as willy nilly as I had imagined it would be. Consider me no longer disgruntled.
