On the subject of current economy, transfer marked being flooded, high salary players being shipped for small amounts of cash.
How about we introduce a minimum transfer value. Some percentage of salary would be a minimum, at which a player can be transfer listed. This would prevent veterans, high salary one dimensional players shifting through teams.
I'm not sure what this percentage might be. Let's say we have a 200k center with no secondary skills, teams can rent him for playoffs cups, and stuff, but him at 10k, sell him at 10k when he's no longer needed. So how about 3 times the salary? He couldn't be sold for less then 600k. His owner would have to retire him, if he's so bad, that he can't find a new owner. At this rate, small salary players wouldn't be affected, some 20k vet couldn't be sold at 1k, but he could be sold at 60k.
What do you think about the idea, I think it could force more realistic prices, horrible rental players would gradually retire, etc?
Maybe some other percentage than proposed 300%? More, less?
