ok, I realize the whole exp thing is some archaic bizzare system, but I have a guy who is in his third season, has played in nearly 40 games with over 800 minutes and is still on level 1???? come on!!!

There are different sublevels for starting experience. I've had guys pop to two in their very first scrimmage, and I had another guy who needed 1300 minutes to pop from 1 to 2.

Also, different kinds of games give different amounts of experience. So, depending on what type of minutes those 800 are, it's not that surprising.

Which is kind of the point, don't you think? Why would a player have more experience than someone who has played more than him?
