are we in the best of the V leagues? Maybe we should challenge the other leagues and see if anyone wants to do some league scrimmaging when their cup is over.

Let me know if you are interested, if we can get 6 of us or so participating I will see about challenging another league.

Let's give it to them. Chat in the U.S. Main, hit me up if you need help.
I am still in cup, so can't scrim them yet.

Good to see some solid competition in this league. Back when I was in for 3 seasons it was a very tough Div V league but then went downhill. Keep up the good work.

I wish there were pigmen. You get a few of these pigmen walking around I'm looking a whole lot better. Then if somebody wants to fix me up at least they could say, Hey he's no pig-man!

I always give the same advice to Div V and Div IV teams. If you can train or acquire guards with 13-15 OD you'll be a dominant defensive teams in Divs V and IV and will be able to compete successfully in Div III. Most Div IV teams aren't well rounded and inside skills are very expensive. Also, avoid the clap...that stuff sucks!

Hey, you just gave away my defensive philosophy. Ok, mine are only 10-11 OD, but same idea.

10-11 is probably sufficient for Div V. I think my best players were defending at level 11 or so when I promoted to Div IV and then by the end of my first stint in Div IV they were up to 15.

Just stumbled upon this post while surfing the forums and I'd like to disagree. I won my (fairly competitive) D.V league back in Season 23 with a PG who had 5 OD.

You can win a Div V league with lower OD, but it makes it harder to advance in Div IV. After winning my Div V league I moved up to Div IV where I immediately won my league with the same guards who had been on my team in Div V. I demoted from Div III after 2 seasons and once again won my Div IV league in my first season there with solid defensive guard play. I make no claims to knowing how to promote to Div II but I'm great in Div IV, and it's been because of OD.
