Pretty straight forward suggestion here

Id like to see Efficiency on the box score/stats pages of players.
(PTS + REB + AST + STL + BLK − Missed FG − Missed FT − TO) ÷ GM

maybe it doesn't have to be for each game, but maybe in player stats, would be nice.

I'm going to assume those first two are suppose to be FG made and FT made, but yeah, sounds fine to me.

Also, is there a way to show a defensive efficiency stat? I'm not sure exactly what the stat would be. Maybe the opponent that you're guarding's FG%? Maybe something more detailed and telling.

yr whilst in NBA i think these stats are realy good and cater for the different styles of play and all that, im just not sure how these in depth statistical measures would be applicable for an online BB game?

I would like EFF on the box score or players home stats page, so maybe in the Career Stats page they could do some of the more advanced stats like you mention.

the only defensive rating/measure i know of is this one

Which looks similar to offensive PP100 - but its so heavily measured by your team mates defensive capability as well, im not sure of the use.

If something is added, I'd much rather have PER than EFF.
EFF is not used anymore in the NBA since it has many flaws... Having both would be great though ;)

PIR isnt used by anyone outside of Europe (in terms of NBA, NBL, dunno about asian markets), so there is going to be a cultural barrier to overcome there. But yes the forumlae is very similar to EFF.

BB doesn't collect 'fouls drawn' stats at the moment though, so that would need to start to be collected, which im sure is possible, but its just another thing to impliment.

anyways... SOMETHING would be nice :)
