This suggestion may have already been made; I haven't been looking at the forums much the past few days.
Personally, I think the whole Utopia idea is great. One thing I don't like, however, is that several players from this fictional country will be thrown into this game. I like that everyone in BuzzerBeater is from actual countries.
There are a lot of countries, (Afghanistan, Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belize, Benin, Bhutan, Botswana, Brunei, Burkina Faso, Burma, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of the Congo, Cuba, Djibouti, Dominica, East Timor, El Salvador, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Fiji, Gabon, The Gambia, Grenada, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Iraq, Côte d'Ivoire, Jordan, Kenya, Kiribati, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Liechtenstein, Madagascar, Malawi, Maldives, Mali, Marshall Islands, Mauritania, Mauritius, Micronesia, Middle-earth, Monaco, Mongolia, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nauru, Nepal, Nicaragua, Niger, North Korea, Oman, Palau, Palestine, Papua New Guinea, Qatar, Rwanda, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Samoa, San Marino, São Tomé and Príncipe, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Somalia, South Sudan, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Suriname, Swaziland, Syria, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Togo, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkmenistan, Tuvalu, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, Vatican City, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe, for example) that aren't represented in BuzzerBeater.
This is my suggestion: When a player is drafted in a Utopia draft, the flag on his profile should be of a country that isn't already in BuzzerBeater. He would still count as a Utopian player and when playing for a Utopia team, have all the benefits of a regular player playing in his home country.
This would be another reason for Utopia not to have a National Team.

I don't like the idea just for 1 reason, you wouldn't be able to have any of your draftees on a NT or U21 NT, and that is my main reason to draft and train players ;)

I don't like that utopian becomes a nationality and i think Utopia should not have NTs. So i appreciate your suggestion.

Problem, it will give extra-work so the different names possible fit the different nationalities.

Don't think of the Utopian players as having nationalities. If that's what's bothering you, then just imagine thousands of professional basketball players have been exiled and/or simply lost citizenship in their home countries. Now they are essentially homeless refugees seeking the safety of good oil' Utopia to continue their basketball dreams.

I have 1757 players for sale and I'm $25,835,360 in debt. Buy them at outrageous prices, or be selfish and make me go bankrupt. You decide, BB.

I know that's a slight problem but I wouldn't mind having some players from Angola with Chinese names. Also the names already in the game can be messed up some time.

Well, it's always better when you do things to do it well.

If (do miracles happens ?), the BBs decide to ear you, i'd be volunteer to give them a list of names for few african countries. I guess other managers (maybe from those countries which are not in the game) would also do it.

Utopia won't have a National Team, so players from the Utopia Nation won't be able to be on a National Team anyway.
I know what you're getting at though; you want players drafted by Utopian teams to be from countries already on the game, so that you can train them for National Teams.
In my opinion, this is a reason not to have players drafted in Utopia be from represented countries. I don't like the idea of spending a tun of money scouting, and buying expensive trainers just to get your player on a National Team. A bunch of teams do it though, so it crowds the game with so many highly skilled players in their prime that training players for your own team or to sell when they're older doesn't make economic sense when you can just buy a fully trained player for not very much.

Definitely the Olympic flag ;) if not then is like so,oh one to design something with a penguin riding a dragon and shooting a crossbow with flaming arrows, all on a baby blue background.

Forget that! A flag with Wilt Chamberlain dunking over a crowd of assembled shorter players, with the text "LI-topia" across the top and "Working it inside since age 15" across the bottom.

I like your suggestion, then Utopia would be called Rest of the World or something. They can all play for Rest of the World NT.

I imagine this wouldn't be too hard to implement, everything would be like another country, from programming aspect, except there there would be different graphical flags.
