This suggestion may have already been made; I haven't been looking at the forums much the past few days.
Personally, I think the whole Utopia idea is great. One thing I don't like, however, is that several players from this fictional country will be thrown into this game. I like that everyone in BuzzerBeater is from actual countries.
There are a lot of countries, (Afghanistan, Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belize, Benin, Bhutan, Botswana, Brunei, Burkina Faso, Burma, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of the Congo, Cuba, Djibouti, Dominica, East Timor, El Salvador, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Fiji, Gabon, The Gambia, Grenada, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Iraq, Côte d'Ivoire, Jordan, Kenya, Kiribati, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Liechtenstein, Madagascar, Malawi, Maldives, Mali, Marshall Islands, Mauritania, Mauritius, Micronesia, Middle-earth, Monaco, Mongolia, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nauru, Nepal, Nicaragua, Niger, North Korea, Oman, Palau, Palestine, Papua New Guinea, Qatar, Rwanda, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Samoa, San Marino, São Tomé and PrÃncipe, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Somalia, South Sudan, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Suriname, Swaziland, Syria, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Togo, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkmenistan, Tuvalu, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, Vatican City, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe, for example) that aren't represented in BuzzerBeater.
This is my suggestion: When a player is drafted in a Utopia draft, the flag on his profile should be of a country that isn't already in BuzzerBeater. He would still count as a Utopian player and when playing for a Utopia team, have all the benefits of a regular player playing in his home country.
This would be another reason for Utopia not to have a National Team.
