Noah is one of my favorite players, in part because he gets as much as he can from the talent he has. that said, Noah is Noah in large part because he is part of a team that supports his skills and effort. put Noah on the Wizards or, god forbid, Brooklyn, and we would have a much less effective player.
my impression is many people who play this game may think more in terms of a player's individual skills than building a team. it is my belief there are very few players who can carry a team, or make everyone else on the squad a better player (Jordan, James, Bill Russell). but a bunch of mostly good to very good players, well selected, can work miracles (San Antonio).
and, fwiw, the BuzzerBeater Noah i envision would actually be cost effective -- a C with a mid- to upper-teen OD would not cost much, handling, Passing, the same, SB/ID/RB/IS at equal, lower-teen levels, not much of JS, forget JR -- such a player would run you less than $100,000 and in the proper context get game ratings of 17 or higher. The trick is such a player would have to get to probably 105 skill pts. or more -- really tough to do for a C.
