So after the first round of this years playoffs it's become apparent who is moving on to the conference finals. In the Great 8 we'll see the clash of two superpowers. The Tree's and The Lightning! These are the two oldest teams in the league, and they also share one of the deepest rivalries. Throughout the years they've played 5 games between themselves with the series split even at 5-5. This is a make or break season for both teams! Who will come out victorious!

Part of me was secretly hoping that you'd lose, then I'd tank my match against the landscapers, just to stay another season. You've really made this a fun league during our time here!

Thanks man, you too. It's been fun, I've played 4 full seasons (23, 24, 25, and 26) in V.16, and you've been here each season. We'll see who moves on Saturday. Comments from Coach LaRon Jackson and Captain Bobby Pittman about the historic Trees-Lightning rivalry:

LARON JACKSON: We [the Trees] haven't had as great a rivalry as the one vs. the Lightning, or as we call them "Neo." We've almost exactly split the games played against each other, and our history has re-described the term "conference rivals."

BOBBY PITTMAN: Man oh man, playing against Neo has been fun. Tough games, fun games. TIGHT games. Saturday's game may be the final faceoff between us Trees and Neo, but hopefully Coach schedules scrimmages between us after.

Good Game Neo..I tried using the GDP to take any advantage, but failed on that part..Seems like only half my team got the memo there was a game..Total dissapointment.. Well the plus side, is i either play the Trees or Neo next season!!!
