Hey all. I'm an Aussie, living in Japan. I've been here a looooong time now, and due to family ('n other stuff) I'll probably be here for a long time to come.
I had hoped that the "2nd team" option would allow me to start a new team in Oz, to have a bit of a connection with the Australian element of BB... but that didn't eventuate the way I'd envisaged.
I made comment about it in the forums (Utopia threads). A number of users suggested I drop by the Australian forums to say "hello" - here I am.

So... "Hello"!

He's done ok by us... but is leaving us.

Tom started his NT tenure with Nippon at #62, now we're at #20 (and were #18, up until the scrimmage loss against Oz!). Pretty damn good.

the last ex-pat from any country living in Japan was quite vocal and has set a very high standard for forum babbling and non-sensical conversation.

So i hope you are up for the challange of following in his footsteps. We expect big things from you!

Yeah... he's still here actually. He's just in the US under a different identity now.
And as far as *footsteps*... ummm... pass.

So, where are you guys from?

I originally grew up in country Victoria, then lived most of my adult life south of Melbourne. Been in Japan for a very, very long time.

im from Perth,

you hear those rumors about Perth being the most expensive city in the world? well. yer, i get excited about $3 take away coffee these days. we've had the most awesome mining boom, yet somehow, the state elected someone who is so stupid they couldn't manage their way out of a paper bag. OUr treasurer just did a runner over east due to 'stress related illness' because he smashed his government car whilst pissed.

what else, go Wildcats, go Eagles, go Utah Jazz (as in, for #1 draft pick in the lottery) and go Matilda Bay brewery.

in other news, Busselton has finally chlorinated their water, Oil and gas is in town and I donated money to a guy dressed as Gumby on the train yesterday.
