I am putting up this poll to see if people think we should have an U21 and a senior national team. My proposal is that we should however there is a proviso. First they will obviously be horrible for ages. Second the non-Utopia users may well be very upset to see us having representative teams fearing that we may dominate, even if that may be many seasons away. So here is my proposal.

Utopia is not in a region. It cannot compete in regional championships. As it cannot compete in regional championships it cannot compete in the world championships.

Utopia can participate in scrimmages. Utopia can participate every second season in the consolation tournament. This would mean we would have a real team that can have real matches that actually matter but that no-one will ever have to worry about us winning the Tournament of the Americas or the World Championships.

Whether or not you like the specifics of my proposal have a think and please vote then put in your ideas.

I'm against the "utopia NT & U21".

We're an "unique" in BB, and as "unique" we have to remain "isolated" from rest of the NT/u21 world.

There are also some things by me: We're from different nations, what if an people from a single nation nation make arrangements to become coach and "uses" only utopian players from "that nation" managers? it can be difficult to "fight" against it...

Cerainly gives me extra incentive but my guys are geting trained anyway.

I voted no as I think it just gives the management team too much insight into the best utopia players, but I admit the elections would be fun - 1000 candidates and 24 voters?

I don't think it's appropriate now. Maybe in a season or 4.
But since this is utopia, it would make more sense to have none.

A idea might be that people from other countries could buy Utopia players and nationalize them, if they spend for instance 5 seasons in that country.

That way the best players still will be able to play for a NT.

Nope.

Really though while I would like to see it, I'm sure the number of whiners when it was announced would be off the charts, and nobody wants that. Also, as a Utopia manager, I would be concerned about Utopian managers ability to communicate about the NT, unless an offsite forum was established, but even then the blend of managers from all over the world might work as a disadvantage, because of language barriers and all.

I would really like to see an NT for utopia at some point.

I mean if I am going to have a roster full of utopian's I should get some reward for it if they are extremely costly players.

But since the best players in Utopia are 19 year old superstars at this point...until the next draft it will probably be 6 seasons before we actually see NT type players available.

I think the NT is on the whole a massive detriment to the game, and having Utopia excluded from that would thus be ideal in my mind. I'd go further personally and say that players on a Utopian roster could not join a NT/U21 team and Utopian teams could not purchase active NT/U21 players - but I don't think that has a chance of happening. ;)
