in the game below, my coach isnt following orders, he was supposed to play my PG and SG for 48 mins but he pulled my SG for no reason in the entire 4th quarter, can someone explain to me what happend

thanks for the info, i just used an extra player as a reserve for the other three positions (SF, PF, C) in case someone got injured, i didnt put him to be reserve for SG so i didnt know the coach would just sub him in like that

8 players should be enough ...

PG: A, A, A
SG: B, B, B
SF: C, F, F
PF: D, G, G
C: E, H, H

In case of injury (either player A or B), players F G H will play at that position by rotation. Coach will make that decision and training minutes will be affected.

Therefore, there is no need to use 9 players even if there would be an injured player.

Even with 8 playing there is no guarantee that the PG and SG will get 48 minutes, the only way to guarantee 48 minutes (without consideration for fouling out) is to dress five players.
