How many people have noticed that the market for 5-20K salary players above age 33 is flooded?
:)

Also, at this point I have not noticed any inflation at all in higher salary players for say the 25-50,000 range.

So I would assume at this point Utopia's effect on the market will be a slight deflation in older player prices for those who were purchased around this time last season.

I believe the buy strategy will once again go back to salary efficient players at a premium and salary inefficient players at bargain prices. Thoughts?

Also, any word on what the TV contract will be for Div IV or Div III? This is important to know because if we see a huge drop to what it "should" be then there might be issues with wages going into the season. Also this would really hamper those that did not advance to Div III while increasing the advantage to those that did make it to Div III because they were able to use the inflated TV contract in Div IV to boost their stadium attendance. Also, IMO it would be best if Div III did not see an inflated TV contract for next season as their weekly wages should be higher anyway.

Agree. No big surprise though… :)

AFAIK the TV contract depends on the wages (not only, but most of it), so it's the teams' pay roll that will increase or decrease the contract. As the contract is the same for all division members, those who managed to make it to Div. II and build up a big stadium will benefit most. And that's just fair...

If the TV contract represents real wages like it does in all leagues but Utopia than I agree with it. I just believe that if they are going to use some inflated number that it should not be something astronomically high for the div III teams. That's just my opinion. I thought the 70,000 number was too high for this last season. It really made the economics of the division much different than I had expected going in.

As is I don't know if they are going to use the 70,000 value again or some other number for Div IV. This makes planning somewhat difficult as I don't know how much wages I can carry for the season start.

Another question...

So we have 64 teams that can advance to Div II.
We also have 128 teams that can advance to Div III next season.

So basically are we assuming that you need to win the league to advance or make the title game in Div IV? While Div III has similar advancement techniques to last season?

Also - what about new teams/leagues? Will they be added this season? Or will there be a Div V instead?

Would be nice to add a Div V for cup prosperity Anyway...looks like we have 80 full divisions now or 1280 users which is nice!
