We've seen a bunch of aberrations about the spectator algorithm, and it seems to me my playoff game shows once more it's completely ill-conceived. I finished 18-4. I was playing the same team that gave me my fourth defeat in the meaningless (for me), last, game of the regular season.

In the regular season game 4300 people showed up. In the playoff game, 3000.

I think I've heard before that there is no playoff boost, and that's fine by me.
But something should be done to temper the effect of a defeat in one's previous game, especially in moving from the regular season to the offseason. As it stands, it is very counter-intuitive.

I don't understand why there should be no playoff boost.

Agree with you

I was even funnier for me...
I finished the season with 22-0.
Last game of regular season I played at home the 4th in the ranking and WON.
Yesterday's playoff against the same team the spectators decreased by more than 500!
And that's only because of my opponent loss the game before :)

I think a new spectators algorithm should be a priority of BB. In particular for the tournament games, when teams are playing against other divisions.

I lost two of my final three league games and attendance was dropping a lot for me as well, but they turned out in droves for the playoffs. 8185 in the regular season finale, 10089 for the QF.

I won the last 3 games in regular season after a losing streak. Now I played the QF at home, spectators increased from 5500 to 8700.

My moves arent massive but I have had a decline (15,356 -15,165 - PO 15,103) All three games won.. 1st was me v 7th then me v 2nd then me v 4th.

2nd game was a TV game which I assumed would give me a boost on supporters...
