That French Patient offense... almost happened to me today but my goon injured him right before the half. If there's a mismatch against patient ratings don't matter unless you zone it.

They played Patient. Simple. It sucks but your opponents had better quality shots. Check the Team FG% of both teams; They were more efficient. Of course, other factors (GS, ENTH levels etc) may have also had an impact.

I got to say that IMO you were a bit unlucky.

On the match up ratings you convincingly won 4 of the 5 positions by fair margins.

They had 1 player rate over 8.5 where as you had 6 players rate over 8.5

Even though your trainee who played PG got smashed when he ranked a 5.5 over 48 mins I would have still had you well ahead.

In the team ratings you convincingly won outside scoring & Inside defence, you marginally won inside scoring & perimeter defence and you broke even with offensive flow.

Whilst they won the rebound & assist counts they had twice as many turnovers as your team did

Perhaps Princetown is just a bad offense or doesnt work all that great unless you have a set of specific skilled players.

Other wise I cant really explain how your team lost given that you also had HCA

I always thought that Princeton needs a lot of passing to be successful whereas patient does not.

It's different sides of the same coin. Princeton seems to require that everyone has good passing, though it does not require really high end passing anywhere (though, of course, it never hurts). If you have a big man with awful passing, you're going to see him turn it over a lot or jack up poor shots, or likely both. Patient just means that they're going to try to get the ball to your "best" position, unless there's something on that play that's better. You need the passing to get those better plays, though, otherwise it'll just dump to your position and they'll fire it up. Of course, the French patient with an outside shooter against a low-OD tree may prefer it that way - a contested three against a terrible outside defender may well be a better shot than an uncontested drive attempt.
