Hello *-:)
Well, the other day I was reviewing some national teams from various countries, not to know what were the tactics they used, or which players they had, but only to make a collection of the ages of the players belonging to each selection. I came to the conclusion that almost every players from national teams of most countries have at least 28 years or more (except some cases in which players can reach the selection with 25/26 years). In most cases, the best selections are made by players aged 30 on average.
The only selection that exists before the AA's, is the U-21, ie, there is usually a gap of 5/6 seasons between U-21 and AA's, which equates to almost a year of real time. My idea would be to create an intermediate selection, ie the U-23 (or even the U-24), which diminish this "space" between the two selections.
What are the advantages in my opinion:
1- 19 years old players of the draft would be most desirable, because despite being difficult to join the U-21 for them, they could have a chance for the U-23.
2- The managers would have more tendency to keep players for more time, because in this case , they have a "new objective" and one more attraction to the game, that is to make your player enter the U-23.
3- It would increase the data base of players to play for the AA's because some players passing through U-21 never really come to be good enough to play in the AA's, because this timeline makes it not take as intensive training as they should, or are sold.
4- It would increase the competitiveness between countries due to the existence of another team, with their own AA teams having a boost in terms of quality of players, so the game would be more balanced in some cases and decrease the quality difference between selections from countries with more users than those who have fewer users.
Any criticism either positive or negative is welcome :)
