So hypothetically, given that the new changes in game, 19 year olds can have a higher starting skill set (to 8 instead of 7). A season ago I would have never went with a 19 year old, but the change has me at least considering it. Who would you choose?

I'm still not clear on the rules. If the 18y and 19y have the same skills, will they both be A+? If there is a second 19y old, better than these two, he's also A+?

For example centers

7/7
7/7 in primary skills

And third guy

8/8
8/8

Agreed. It might have been a tougher choice before changes were introduced, but right no it seems no-brainer to me. You can still cap the 19yo MVP potential player

18yo 4 star 5 pot
19yo 5 star 5 pot

I would take 18yo (at least before changes). 14 weeks of training can net you 10 pops (not sure what the difference between 19yo 5 star and 18yo 4 star is though), and you can actually chose where to put them

I guess this is where the scouting of skills can be real helpful. If you can use 3+ scouts (6 skills) then I think you could get a fair idea of the others based on grade rating and position?

would much rather a well rounded 4 ball 18yo then a 5 ball 19yo with no secondaries.
