Since summer 2012, I do nothing except training from 18 till 21. And I'm sure, that MVP or allstar or any other potencial doesnt reflect training speed. Potencial has influence only for the price (and cap speed). (30055432) and (31028226). Both players were almost the same, but their price...both were sold ant age 21.
Sometimes I question myself, what would be the price, if their potencial would be hall of fame.

The MVP will train "faster" if his cross-training goes into desired skills while the allstar's all goes into undesired skills. ;)

) if they follow the same training, they will train at the same speed no matter what

If I make elastic player it takes (lets say, just for exp. 5 skill-ups/season, so 15 ups from 18 till age 20). so we have 15 ups. But if we, lets say, will train only ID if starting skill is 5. Will allstar potential player reach 16-20 at the same speed as all time great player? Never tryed, but I am not sure, that speed in this case, would be same.

No every player in this game trains just as fast as the other one does if given the exact same training

Are you 100% sure? I'm not. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a hidden skill which slows the training down or accelerates it.
