I know this is not the first time it has been mentioned, but I have some ideas about this. Usually BBs or GMs say the age cannot be revealed because if too much information is given, it makes it easier for users to compare their draft picks. However, there are solutions to this.

1) Have all players start at 18 or 19.

or

2) Add a small random element to scouting. This would mean that an A+ player might actually be an A or a B- might be a B. Even a small random element like that would make it virtually impossible to compare, even knowing the age of the player.

I think that the player's age is one of the most important factors when deciding who to pick. An 18 yr old triple respectable is much more valuable than his 19 yr old counterpart. I would rather have the player's age and be somewhat uncertain of his skill level (ie: one or two sub-grades).

is true that the difference between 18 and 19 y draft A+ (for example) is a diametral

I see best draft will be A+, 5 star potential and 18 years old:D

these guys are RARE in here unfortunately

I think that the difference of age is already included in the results.
Last year, I had a 19 year old player who was better than my first choice.
The 19 year old player was a 4 stars, the 18 year old was a 5 stars.

I think when we see the draftees come in that 18 year olds will have better potential than 19 years, on average. Not all of them, of course, but mostly. The 5 star potential kids will turn out to be 18 year olds, I'm willing to bet.

I must say that after drafting 3!!!! 19 year olds that did suck anyway (from which 2 where ranked as 5 stars!!) I am totally for this idea.
At least an 18 year old 5 star that totally sucks is 18 years. ;)

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.

I drafted an MVP potential 19 y/o. If they're worried about collusion, why not give each team a different boxscore, that way it would be harder to do.

My 5 star guy turned out to be 19 (he was my 2nd preference). In fact, I'm 99% sure that my #1 preference, who was also 5 stars, turned out to be 19.

I don't think age has any impact on the scouting reports.
