So I started with this game on Dec. 23 and have gotten a mentor, whose advice I'm following -- build the arena and train 2 or 3 guys this season, working from my mentor's advice and using a training simulator to plan the training. That is all fine and good, other than I'm losing all my games pretty badly. Growing pains, but entertaining.

The issue I'm having right now is that I think the salary floor is about to be applied to me, even though I've only been playing for 4 weeks. According to the Economy note in the Game Manual "The salary floor does not apply to new teams for their first sixteen weeks." But for the first time since I've started, my Economy page shows my Player Salaries set at the salary floor value, rather than the sum of my actual player salaries which is a good bit less. I understand that I'm about to lose the $50,000 cash bonus for new managers, but I wasn't expecting to get charged the salary floor so soon.

Is this something that happens whenever a new season starts, and it will actually not be charged to me? Or is it a bug peculiar to this season's start? And, has this happened to other new managers who are still within the 12 week salary floor exemption window?

Thanks for any help.

That was what I was hoping it would be. Thanks. At least there's one thing from today that I can breathe easier about. Life is good!

Thanks. I hadn't seen that drop-down menu for the economy page, even though it's at the top of the page. smh It will definitely help when I lose track of the weeks as this season goes along.
