What are the skill priority trained in 1v1 guards vs fowards? Regardless of elastic effects and age, assume height is around 6 ft to 6 ft 5.

The primary focus on both 1v1 guards + forwards is Driving and Handling.

The Secondary Skill focus is different however, it is;

Guards = Outside Defence and Jump Shot

Forwards= Inside Defence and Inside Shot

Hope this helps!

As far as I know there is no defensive skill trained with 1-on-1. Or maybe I was just unlucky all the years.

Imo it makes no sense to train 1-on-1 for guards, as the free IS that comes along with Forward Training outweighs the slightly better JS training for guards.

I've certainly gotten pops from on OD and ID from training driving, perhaps this was elastic effect though and wasn't directly trained by driving.

6'0", 18yo ------------- JS -- JR -- OD -- HA -- DR -- PA -- IS -- ID -- RB -- SB
ONE ON ONE (PG/SG) 0,34 ------ ------ 0,38- 0,48 ------ ------ ----- ------ ---
ONE ON ONE (SF/PF) 0,18 ------- ----- 0,43- 0,46 ------- 0,27 ----- ------ ---

This is what gets trained according to Rhyminsimon's training simulator, which uses data from the USA offsite.

Besides that, it shows that it is worth it to train 1v1 Guards if you want to train JS on a tall player, since 1v1 trains JS faster than JS training does for tall players.

1-on-1 is way overpowered as it is right now. If we added defense training, it would be ridiculous.

The OD/ID pops I received whilst training Driving must have been as a result of the elastic effect then
