In my opinion if a player is transfer listed, has bids AND gets injured during that period, all bids should be cancelled.

Would suck big time to place an early bid on a player that gets injured for the playoffs.

Good idea!

I have a question with this however. What happens when a manager uses the money that people bid on his player with for another transfer/to invest in his arena before he is injured/sold? It wouldn't be fair to revoke those transfers or expansions for the original player's manager.

You got it! That's one reason it is a bad idea.

If you re-read his idea, it says while he is on the transfer list. The manager that is listing the player wouldn't have any money from that player yet since he hasn't sold yet. The game would just cancel the auction for that player if he gets injured while he is listed. My reading of the proposed idea is that if a player is injured after he is listed, he is asking for the game to cancel the listing so that you don't end up buying a stud for the playoffs and he is injured before you even get to use him.

It's a good idea. I don't understand why injured players can even be listed to begin with. I can see a player getting listed and then injured, but not sure why the game lets you sell players that are already hurt.

Maybe teams that list a player shouldn't be able to use them in their lineup after they have a bid or are listed at all. Teams that are selling a player don't play that player after they have a guaranteed commitment to sell or trade.

I also agree that you should still be able to list injured players. Bidders have full knowledge of the injury and factor that into their assessment of the players value.

Maybe give a one time exception for the first scrimmage. Could also make injuries in that scrimmage not carry over like what happens to injuries in NT games.

Manon explained it pretty well, but yes you can use money from transfers before they are technically completed and the player is still on the transfer list.

As for your second part, I personally like looking for injured players if I am rebuilding (as I am right now) as I don't crucially need them for the next few games, but in the long run they can help my team and are generally much cheaper when they are injured.
