Hey guys I got another question here when im playing a 2-3 zone I expect us to get defensive rebound and clog the inside well usually all I see is inside shots with 2-3 zone. Now people in real life what a zone means is that you have to break it down on offense to get them to go man to man in your favor. does guarding a position slot different from the other position still take in effect if I play 2-3? When I go man to man I see more shots in my favor with my team skill level I perfer a zone because the last thing I would want to play is man to man unless we got the height advantage in our favor.

2-3 zone in Buzzerbeater isn't exactly the way it is in real life. My understanding is that the 2-3 zone improves inside defense at the cost of outside defense. This is fairly accurate with a real life 2-3 zone. The main difference is that in the game a 2-3 zone has zero effect (positive or negative) on rebounding. The only time I like to use a 2-3 zone is when I know my opponent will attack inside. And I use a 3-2 when I know my opponent will attack outside.

Is this true? I always thought it increased rebounding.

Game manual says: "2-3 Zone: Increased inside defense and rebounding at the expense of a lot of perimeter defense. Somewhat slow pace."

I've seen a bunch of your posts in the past. Let me clear this up for you. BB and real life basketball are totally different. You can't keep comparing what you analyze and think should happen in a real life should transfer to BB. There's no such thing as a "height advantage" in BB. If a 5'9 guard has Prolific RB and you have a 7'6 Center with Strong the guard will win everytime. Height only matters when training a player. That's the only "height advantage" you'll see in this game. Hopefully this clears any misconceptions you have in this game?

I honestly don't think you do. You continually post about height advantage. I was just trying to clear up any misconception you had and for you not to put too much stock in real life basketball translating to a game such as BB. I've seen your questions in the forums and they're good newbie questions but I think you need to take some time of going through the game manual and reading about training and the differences between BB and the real basketball we know.
