My team's finance have continuous dropped at around 30k-40k each week. My finance is now at 490k. At this rate i don't think it's going to last through to the end of this year. How do I turn this around? Do i need to sell Power and others to bringing cheaper players to boost my budget up?

You have to sell Power now. His contribution to your squad is not worth the 180k per week you're paying him. He's a great player, but he's the sort of player you only want to have if you're in the ABBL or going for promotion in division II.

Invest some of the money you get from selling him into your arena. I've never been an expert in arena revenue raising, but my recommendation for your first expansion project after selling Power is 500 Bleachers, 60 Lower Tier, 30 Courtside Seats and 4 Luxury Boxes. And with those expansions in place, lower your Lower Tier ticket pricing to $50, your Courtside pricing to $160, and your Luxury Box pricing to $1200. See how your fans re-act to those prices and expansions, then make adjustments based on that.

In time, you'll have enough money to be hopefully able to buy an entire squad of players who can earn you promotion from division III for a combined weekly salary equal to what Power is demanding on a weekly basis right now. It may be hard to let go of such a good player, especially when you drafted him yourself, but it will help you in the long run.

Do i need to sell Power

Yes! :)

Power alone is more than your league average TEAM salaries. Even Div II teams would struggle to field a balanced and competitive team with one guy taking up 180k. Also you have three starters and then nothing.

Your attendance dollars are quite low compared to the league average as you aren't winning enough games, further killing your bank balance.

Definitely sell Power and look to replace him with three guys that give you a complete starting 5. This should allow you to win more games, which increases attendance. Also gives you a great chance to get up to 5th and remain in div III.

Also consider getting 1 or 2 good trainees to build up when you have some cash.

Additional Points
The main issue is your player salary expenditure. Only should have to spend ~150k per week to win div 3; unless your main ambition is training nt players but there is a cap how far a div 3 team can do that for.

hoooly dooly!

OK yes unfortunately you have trained Power 'too well' and now you cannot afford to keep him. Unless you promote up the ranks to support your trainee's salary, then you need to offload them.

Sorry but thats just reality.

Having Power, play with a PG with salary <$10k in Div III, is a bit like having a 12 year old playing PG with Shaq.

So three principles you want to work on:
- Buzzerbeater will find your weakest link in your team.If your PG is drastically worse than all your other players, he will be exposed game in game out. Spread your risk across all positions. The reality is that a team of 5 x $30k players will beat yours at the moment.
- Gameshape - Your backup centre (obviously backing up Power) has a salary of $30k. And Average gameshape. Yet your starting PF has a salary of $17k (or something like that). this is just a waste. Go away on the forums and read up on gameshape and read up on what gameshape is and how it affects your players and how to maintain it.
- Arena - Your arena is not up to scratch. Sell Power, and all your savings for the remainder of the season need to go into your arena.
