I had a lvl 10 PR manager but it fetches a lower Merchandise Revenue then my previous one which is lower a lvl...just wondering how it works and how much are the rest getting from Merchandise Revenue? Mine is about 40 over k each time.

There are a lot of other discussions about merchandising. Every time you lose a match your revenue will be lower, 40k/week is a very good revenue. Try to not lose any match and your merchandising will be always around 40k

I'm going to use this post to warn NEWBIE's about upgrading your PR Manager and/or Medical Staff too early ... I made the mistake of hiring a Level 9 PR Manager and Level 5 Doctor right away and it has done nothing but drain my economy ... I was losing approximately 10 - 15,000 per week and it drained me down to almost nothing ... Here's a warning to NEW PLAYERS !! ... Leveling up a PR Manager and Doctor are luxuries after you've established a winning record and upgraded your Arena and are consistantly filling it ... I would also advise NEW Players against investing over 5,000 in Scouting until you've increased your economic base. McGuire (Portage Paddlefish)

McGuire's advice is excellent for new teams.

Keep your doc and PR mgr at level 1, but don't be afraid to hire a level 10 trainer. Don't waste money on the TL, either. Making your trainees better is the way to go. Fill in your non-trainee slots with cheap, decent upgrades after you receive 2 TV game payments.
Slowly increase your stadium. See other threads for how to proceed on that.

Also, check on the level of the player giving advice. By that I mean, Mcquire and I are in DIV. We know what works there. If you are in DIV, you should ignore the advice of players in DI like kkl, above, who is in Singapore DI. His world is vastly different from ours. 40k per week from Merchandise will not happen in DIV under any conditions.

the PR manager is something i've been pretty disappointed in actually. I have also tried a high level PR manager thinking it would make some sort of an impact on my ticket sales or at least merchandise revenue but it seems like game victories and more importantly continued victories are the only thing that matters to sales.

I still think that the PR manager (at high levels anyway) needs a boost and the drop in revenue after even 1 loss is a little bit too high.

he isn't useless, succes is still the more important think but i believe my PR manager works enough to pay his 20k$ wage, with a bonus in attendance.
