Did you guys already know that when trying to delete one of your favourites (team, game, player,...) on the favourites page, the website always gives an error, and it's actually impossible to do so for people using Internet Explorer.
With Chrome however, no problem, there it works.

And this has been going on now for multiple months already, and the problem just doesn't get fixed in Internet Explorer by your developers. I don't understand that, this can't be very difficult to fix.

You know what i get as an answer when i address the issue to a BB ??
"Use Chrome instead"

I find this really a pitiful answer, and i find this really sad, since Internet Explorer is a browser that is still used a lot by many people for surfing the internet. The answer "use Chrome instead" does NOT SATISFY me at all, since i prefer to use IE instead of Chrome (for personal reasons). And i'm not the only one.

Did you BB guys ever stop to think why the number of active teams has been going down in recent past ?
Well, it's exactly this kind of attitude/mentality that makes people stop using BB.

Because what you are really saying is, "use Chrome or fu** off". (sorry for my language, just making a point)
Is that what you want ? Because if so, then the future seems not so bright for BB, if you are not willing to help users that prefer Internet Explorer, because there is still quite a lot of them, and it could make a world of difference for BB, if you would also be willing to help the people that use IE.

I think that if you refuse to resolve issue(s) like this in IE, you will continue to lose users that use Internet Explorer.

grtz,
Eagle.

You have this set up as if we're doing this on purpose when the fact remains that the problem is caused by IE. We cannot change IE.

Oh i'm sorry, i thought this was caused by bad programming in IE.

So you say the cause is IE and you cannot solve the problem ?

But then why has it always worked before on IE ?

Could you elaborate a little bit more where exactly the cause of this problem lies, since i am analyst-programmer too,
and this interests me by nature.

Marin said this about IE last season:
I'm afraid we don't fully support using IE on our site. IE has been problematic with such a wide range of issues that we'd decided not to pursue fixing them for IE, since the problem lies with IE not following web standards properly. I'd suggest changing your favorite browser.

We use ASP.net for most of the site frontend and this particular part is related to AJAX components (specificaly, UpdatePanels) directly implemented in the development system. These fail in IE for no apparent reason sometimes.

Will you support Microsoft Edge, the successor of IE ?

We will see how it fares. IE was mostly non-compliant to web standards, but if Edge becomes that, I don't see why not.
