I am currently training 2 pfs and really want to bump up they're inside shot and rebounding. I dont think i can just train those 2 every other week with continuance pops....should i also incorporate one on one, passing and inside defense to continue getting pops?
I noticed that one of my pf didn't pop for about 3 weeks in IO, ID, which was pretty much the regime all season....if i continue to train them like this he will greatly miss out popping on other skills. Whats a good way to train them so they continue to develop?

I do a training cycle. Which I train the team each week one training session friday to friday. I train the team in full each position I use to do three posiiton training which cover more players when I do this but now I do 2 position 1 position traniing which everyone says its more efficent. So in conclusion it takes more to train per my roster than doing 3 position training. I would suggest doing this cycle so its not training per player but per the team. The cycle completes when you finish training the whole team in that training method. This is my training style I made the term up "cycle". But this is not up to me this is "your" team so whatever my opinion doesn't matter. You can do whatever you want with "your" team just make it the best possible move each time.

Heading on the right path so far. Are you?

Thx....that makes sense when training a young roster. My roster only has a couple young players but the others are vets over 33. Now i realized i can train my new rookies coming in next week even if thetmy are guards....but im REALLY concentrating on beefing up my 2 pfs. So im trying to get them to pop ea week in anything but if i choose inside shot to train both i may get a pop and nothing more for a few weeks unless i choose different areas like rebounding, inside defense etc...

Are you saying you train 2 different players each week until you have gone through everyone one your team, then start again. If so you wouldn't end up with anyone who is that good.

Well right now its ONLY my pf...age 20, 6-10 his id is sensational whiched pop a few times over this season, his js is strong but passing is a 2....his inside shot is prominent, shot block is proficient while his rebounding is respectful.

I'm sorry I am also training another 19 year old power forward with star potential... I am training both of them this week one on one and playing them at point guard and shooting guard in scrimmage tomorrow night... Please shed some light on my training issues if you can... I don't really train veterans just my young guys which as you can see is only a couple right now. Thanks for all your help and advice

As Manon said, you won't get pop every week. The best thing to do is getting the Training Simulator or Coach Parrot, especially if your guys have relatively low potential (at some point they will be unable to improve any further), and check what is likely to happen.

For training selections which allow for it, always train single position if you can, so pressure for PG rather than guards or inside shot for C rather than PF/C (the training is much faster).
