My reasoning for running for the NT manager job now isn't that complicated. Over the past 13 and a half seasons, I slowly built up a team that could compete for the highest title in the nation. There was no secret formula to my success; just a combination of building good teams for relatively low cost, and a healthy dose of luck. Now that I have built the best team I could for the money I had, all that's left on the club side of things is to just play it out and see how many trophies I can get before I need to break it up due to age and start re-building for another run.

What I'm getting at here is that the National Manager job represents a new challenge in this game for me. I've previously shown an interest in the U21 job but when Whitewind chose to continue for another term I stepped aside, accepting that he was the better manager for the job. With Mickyster suggesting that he would step down if someone else wanted the senior job however, I figured that now was a good time to step in, having just come off a successful ABBL campaign.

My managing style revolves around setting up a team that can utilise several different tactics well, and constantly changing which tactics we do use, so that if my opponents try to GDP me, they'll miss more often then they'll hit. At least that's my plan in theory; Mllama and Whitewind called what I was going to do relatively well in last season's play-offs, and I only scraped through to the final thanks to HCA and the 11.1 million dollar roster I have right now. So fair play to them.

Scouting is going to be a very new experience for me, but I doubt that it would be a big problem as I do have the spare time needed to be able to scout for the best squad available to us for the upcoming campaign. Big thank you has to go to Mickyster for putting our Senior NT in such a good position for the next Asian Cup, with HCA on our side. If I get elected in I would be disappointed in myself if I can't turn this into a Cup victory for the team...
