Hi guys. Just wondering if i could get some feedback on a suggestion i have regarding the NT. As NT coach of England i've noticed that its hard to keep people interested in training players after they leave the U21 and progressing them enough to be NT players. These players normally won't make the cut because i need those spots for the big players but it would be nice to give those trainers some inspiration to keep training.

I'd like to suggest a seperate roster page for some sort of 'development squad' where you can place maybe your fringe NT players or 22/23yo stars that aren't quite ready to make that leap to a NT squad place just yet. This way your fellow countrymen can also see the future of the NT and maybe help them with deciding on what players to train that could fit a potential hole they see in the development squad. I've seen a lot of players lost after the U21s and it would be a nice addition in my opinion.

Yep, I also still support this idea. It would be a welcome addition. I think the only "problem" is to figure out a good way to implement this team into the schedule. Give the managers of U21/NT a three-season-term? It would definitely be very nice if it got implemented!

Thanks for linking me to those threads. They made for an interesting read. It seems this idea is a very popular one. My only issue is, would this be too complicated for the BBs to implement.

As far as the team competiting in tournaments etc, maybe it would be easier to just have a roster page for this team and be allowed to play scrimmages against other development squads and have this as a branch of the NT coaches job. As a NT coach i feel like once you've scouted in your first season and picked your squad, there isn't much to do in the following seasons. For a team like England our team is set and maybe 1/2 new guys join the NT every other season. Giving us more reasons to scout 22/23/24 year olds would be great. I struggle to message and keep in touch with every manager who owns one of these players, not to mention i can't see their progression all season unless i get them to message skills. So even just a roster page where i can see these players and allow other people to see the future of the NT would be cool. BB doesn't seem too sold on the idea of 3 season NT terms or changing the NT tournaments around, so i wonder if they'd be interested in something a little simpler
