As we have a much shorter cup, due to less leagues, I would like to see the following changes:

- home advantage for the lower ranked team
- no PvP matches, as long as bots are still in the cup

I think the home court advantage won't change a lot, but in general this is how cup competitions with elemination games are played (at least here in Europe).

Second point has been suggested quite a few times over the last few years, but due to the more than generous supply of bot teams, unfair matchups have been very very rare in the first few rounds - now a first round exit can do real harm, especially considering fan survey and the possibility to build enthusiasm.

Please discuss.

It's impossible, right ?

If you have 37 teams. At one point or another, you have to have PvP and PvB at the same time.

You could argue for no PvP as long as there is bots vs bots too, but the first point seems impossible.


Okay, for the cherry picking users: no PvP as long as there is bots vs bots too

Seemed pretty obvious for me tho.

Get rid of the 2 game cup week during All Star so the Cinderellas (European: Minnows) can hoard more enthusiasm. While I understand separating the contenders from the pretenders, there's got to be some cup magic through the later rounds too!

Maybe though now the game shrunk so much everybody is making it. I think you need more teams to have anyone not in the cup...

In this case I think that teams that lose out of the cup should be given a 2nd chance until the bots are gone.


Game manual is obsolete - at least many parts of it are old and need to be rewritten. Don't know if there is anybody who can do it, as Perpete has stated that its beyond the (E)GMs control to change the english version.

I'm against recycling human teams tho. No need to play a human opponent as long as there is an abundance of computer managed teams left.

YOu want to get free money every week playing bots????


I don't care about the money, it's the enthusiasm that is relevant for me and probably many others.

I think it's a bit unfair, especially for teams in the B3, that big nations can build their enth. through free cup wins, while small nations might get trouble because of unlucky seeding, or the short competition in general.
