After the World Championship final, so I'm guessing perhaps at Tuesday update?

Why is that important for transfers, anyways?

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke
Charles: Penn has some good people
A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

Maybe because the player would have a higher DMI, so he could sell him at a higher price. Not sure though..

Never thought of that, though I'd shake my head at someone that used DMI in that (or really any) manner.

maybe not ask more, but get more.
It is unlikely DMI is used here, but I do think people are willing to pay more if the game shape of a player is higher. So if a team tries to sell off a player they rarely use, his game shape will be low, and chances are not so much teams are intetrested in him due to this fact, if this team waits until the reset, all players have the same shape, and chance are he'll get some more for the player...

well, game shape does have an influence on the players effect in the game (or not? so at least i thought i've noticed quite clearly over the past month).

1. what the other said - it just looks sexier to have a 50k DMI player (the effect of that dark red color is immense.. if you ever played world of warcraft, it's the purple - epic effect, which makes people want things more, although they're not really better ;))

2. if i buy a player with a game shape of 2 (which i jsut did), i would take me 2-3 weeks to get him to 8. so after the reset, i can start off his training at 7, which makes him even a possible option for a sub / friendly game.

I always try to beef up the TSI of my players in HT. It is kind of like using a hair dryer to fluff out the fur of animals at the livestock show.

I've actually seen this in action.

I don't realy like the changes they made to limit daytrading.

It affects everyone, daytrader or not, so the 'good' have to be punished with the 'bad' again.
Surely there are lots of ways to deal with the 'problem' in a way that players who never daytrade stay unaffected...

As an extra tought people might put their players up too cheap now that not being able to sell him will have a negative effect, which does not prevent trading at all. It would be far better that managers would list the players for their actual value, this would prevent others from making a profit from those players...

Also don't forget that if you have trained 3 players and sell them at the same time, and buy 3 new trainees, you might get punished for that as well, because it is 6 trades in short time, while it has nothing to do with daytrading...

Personally I am disappointed with the actions they took, and feel this hurts non-traders as much as traders. Traders should have more drawback from it, but I don't think traders mind that much about these drawbacks that much, because the only thing they care about is the amount of money they make on a player, and not what his form is or was, nor that they get some more spectators or not...
Limiting trading, or the profits from trading, should affect only the traders, and these measurements affect everyone.

From what I understand, if you sell a player or two, the effect on fan enthusiasm is pretty damn small.

Once you start selling a gross of players, that's where it kicks in.
