I've read quite a bit on the forums over the years I've been on BB, but I'm not sure if I've ever seen anyone talk about this. For every game we get to decide if we want t sit our players in foul trouble or let them play. I think I've chosen Let them Play for every single game my team has ever played so that minutes don't get messed up, but I've never really thought about it. What do you guys do when your players are in foul trouble?

Wonder what it is that makes guys running Princeton pick up several offensive fouls a game while teams running look inside rarely do.

As far as the actual intent of the question, the deeper the team and less reliaant on specific minute management (e.g., training), the more likely I'd be to use 'sit them' - but I can't honestly say that I remember ever choosing that, even when I was in FT training mode. I've had enough cases of guys sitting on 5 fouls for half a game that I don't want to risk minute management too much - if they get the sixth foul, they get the sixth foul and there was nothing to be done about it.

If you know how to train is mandatory to use let them play, in any case the coach will change the player in foul trouble if there is someone else in his position, see my yesterday's match (center)

Let them play. That way you get the maximum time from your starters. When you sit them, you actually play them for fewer minutes in the game if they don't eventually foul out. That doesn't seem to make sense to me.

Early in my BB career I played Sit them....but quickly changed to Let them play, and have stuck with that. In my opinion, the GE factors in a number of things when determining the outcome of games. I think there are certain scenarios where a favored team might have a better chance to steal a game according to the GE if certain variables occur....Like if a player had a great shooting streak, or an injury occurs, or foul trouble.

So to me, "Sit Them" just gives the GE another variable to use against me to allow the other team to beat me. Because if I have a quality player pick up 2 quick fouls, and the GE takes that player out, and then my backup gets scorched I may end losing that game....but if that player with 2 fouls stays in the game, perhaps he won't pick up another the foul the rest of the game, or maybe just 1 or 2 fouls, and then it turned out there was no reason to sit him anyway.

I went let them play for a while...then went to sit them I prefer the latter because it better ensures your players will be on the court come winning time, plus I have seen many a instance where the team going LTP frittered away large leads after seeing main cogs disqualify.

What I would like to see is a sit on 2 fouls, sit on 3 or let them play range of options.
