Since weeks the players game shape seems to follow no logic. You can have players with the same game time with opposite results (in my utopia team this week Davidsson (37526137) played 66 minutes dropping from 8 to 7, whereas Revivo (38347576) with 67 minutes went from 7 to 9), in my 2 clubs there is every weeks things like that, i can put my player any minute between 40 and 90, he will go up or down and another player the opposite. It is not useful anymore to try to manage the players minutes as game shape do what it wants.

This isn't a bug.

Gameshape depends on a lot of things and takes into account more than just the minutes they played in the last week. The week before that matter as well. There's also a certain random factor to it but that can be generally controlled by good minute distribution. You'll never get perfect at keeping everyone at 9 Gameshape but that's not how it's supposed to be.

But yeah definitely not a 'bug'. Maybe you could post this in suggestions as a suggestion to change the calculations? I for one like it how it is.

It's all just a matter of odds.
There is no window of minutes that will always prove to increase GS, or even keep it stable.
For example, with my team over the years, 67 minutes yields these results for players starting the week at 8 GS:

3% drop to 7
48% stay at 8
49% increase to 9

That's still pretty good, though.

For players starting at 7 GS:
2% drop to 6
28% stay at 7
58% climb to 8
12% rise to 9

Α player of mine, started like everybody else at 7 GS and has remained at 7, the entire time since then(four training updates).
His weekly minutes were 80, 72, 73, 62.
His reset DMI was 210k. It deviated ever so slightly since( 210-234-228-258-248).

Yes, this is not a bug...that's the sad news.
It gets even sadder when we're supposed to be encouraging skill over GS training.
What we actually do, is try to force people training skills(with series of measures) instead of actually encouraging them.

The way it is now, if you're training skills, weekly minutes are vital if you don't want players to drop in GS(altough you won't avoid big drops in the more crucial DMI) but pretty much irrelevant in order to gain GS.

The aforementioned example is just one of (too)many i can report, just from my teams over the last seasons, since i am skill training in both.

It is strange that all these seasons, we do not have a range of minutes(weekly or over larger periods of time) where if you are within that range, your GS while training skills would be as if you had trained GS.

After all, common sense and real life dictate that GS is mainly acquired by playing time.

...yet, when you trained GS, it only increases your chances of a favorable GS result. It was never a sure thing.

I think what a lot of people are asking for is a definitive number of minutes that will result in 9 GS for the entire season if executed properly. Heck, that would nice. But it is not in the cards we have been dealt.
As it is, there are plenty of minute ranges you can play that will most likely give you 8 or 9 GS throughout the season, but of course it will waiver between the two, and maybe sometimes even drop back down to 7.

The engine, within a certain range of minutes, giving me the same chances of favorable GAME Shape result as with GS training is exactly what i'm talking about.
Now those chances, whatever the weekly minutes skill trained players achieve, are nowhere remotely close to those GS training(with trainer level two for that matter) has.

Thanks for the explanation, i posted the topic here , as i never noticed surprising game shape for all my roster only in the last 10 weeks, i never had so much drops at the same time in 12 or 13 season in BB that's why i wondered about a bug, thanks for the explanations
