Nearly pulled off the huge upset against South Beach, good game Al. How do the remaining teams feel about their chances? Who's the favorite? On a somewhat related note, I wish this league could return to its former glory, and be super competitive. As it stands, there is a HUGE divide between playoff teams and the rest of the league. Do you guys agree? Or do you prefer the easy W's?

Poll:  Favorite to be League IV.1 champs?

South Beach Heat
cmpd
Todo Liberdade

Cmpd should be the favorite. They have the most expensive team by far. They also play defense which can't be said for the Heat.
The easy schedule helped the Heat to have their greatest offensive season ever and cover their perennially flawed defense so I can't complain.
The Heat might struggle to get past Todo Liberdade in the semifinal if star shooting guard Matthew Irving keeps getting into foul trouble which has caused him to play less than 20 minutes in the previous 4 competitive games. Also, point guard Ike Orford is also struggling to score which doesn't help either.

My pick to win it all is the South Beach Heat. We played them i think twice this year and in my opinion they are the best team in the league. That kid Matthew Irving is insane, and he is only 23 years old. He has a lot of potential. My pick is the Heat over Cmpd in 3 games.

SBH is a solid squad, for sure. On paper, they are a strong favorite. We'll have to see which TOD team shows up. If they can pull a solid 4th Q, I think they have a chance to get over the recent SBH dominance.

The Heat repeat as conference champs and will play in the finals again. After using a fast paced balanced attack all season, the Heat reverted to old tactics of seasons ago as they switched to an inside attack and moved their sixth man Junyer into the starting PF spot. Todo Liberdade shut down the Heat's passing game but lost the turnover battle and had a poor shooting night. The Heat big men went 22-32 from the field for 49 points.

2nd straight year Game 2 has gone to 2OT. Ridiculous 3 buzzerbeaters in this year's game with no defense played and a ton of missed FTs from my team. Both teams will be undermanned for the final game. I sold Sunde, Paul, Bziukiewicz, and Ulleta during the game and Irving is out with injury while cmpd remains without leading scorer Palsson.
