As a non-supporter i cannot search in the forums so i apologize if this has been suggested before(really bad decision that non-supporters cannot search in the forums and especially new managers).

I started again this game for the 3rd time(former supporter also),lastly played in 2012 and i still don't understand why staff members have close to exponential salary increases :P...well at least, high salary increases every week!

Well i have to give credit where it belongs for the change that includes a 18 y.o. allstar player in every new team, but it doesn't make any sense if a new manager wants to buy a low-salary level 5 trainer to train him,and the trainer costs around 350k+...Why am i kind of forced to buy a lvl 4 or below trainer as a new manager to train my 18 y.o trainee?Of course level 4 is not bad,but i've trained in the past for U21 and i am willing to do that again....well not now with a level 4 trainer...

My suggestions:

Suggestion No.1)Increase the # of staff members available in the market.Prices need to be new-user-friendly!Hope you understand what i am talking about.

Suggestion No.2)Salary CAP for staff members depending on their levels, specialties and also team's division.Example, for a 4th division team with level 4 trainer with no specialty, when trainer reaches 30k salary, his salary will be fixed at 30k from now and on.If the team promotes from 4th to 3rd division then salary cap goes from 30k to 40k etc. Please don't take those numbers in the example as a suggestion and focus on the cap point!

I like that suggestion. Especially the cap-idea. That would definitely lower the prices for new staff members enormously. It could also be something like after the hit the cap, they get a slight increase during the allstar break and at the beginning at each season. So that it would be something like a "soft-cap" rather than a hard cap. That would mean you'd have eventually (but way later than at the moment) start looking for a new staff member and the whole staff market wouldn't be rendered useless (I'd take a lvl 5 coach with 40k each week happily if his salary doesn't increase, as would probably quite a lot of people here^^)

If you're going to tinker with the game, you need to drain money out of it, not the other way around.

Great idea.

Also having a cap would reduce the turnover of staff members and people would keep them longer.

I suggested to get rid of the staff, as right now it is only a huge annoyance. Replace it wirh a fixed spending (like scouting), the more you pay the more you get. Fair for everybody.
