I have a suggestion:

At the half time break (and maybe even at the break between quarters) , it would be possible to change the tactics.
If you watch the game live, you can see the opponent game-style and adjust.

I think it would make the game more realistic, what do you think?

I disagree, because huge amount of managers do not watch games on LIVE. This option will give a huge advantage to that manager, who is watching all games on live.

I understand that, but it doesnt mean they lose the game. A large options will be offer for the manager before the game as well, to adjust and re-tactic the tactics the opponent use during the game.


For example, let's say the opponent see at halftime that he need to take more 3 point shots, than the manager(which is offline now), can adjust and re-tactic: make his defence diffrenet or maybe even change his players.

Every change will cause an efect (only, of course, If the manager will prepare his tactics before the game).

You can say the same thing about someone who enters the site once a week compering to someone who enters 3 times..

it will give an advantage to small teams against big teams as well.

overall i think the plus side of this is bigger than the minus

I think the match is already calculated in its entirety in the 15 minutes before the match begins (the period where you can no longer submit orders). It's already over even if you watch it live.

yes, and if you disconnect the viewer keeps going, meaning that the data is already in your cache or somewhere else.

I do think however that injuries which are permanent can be assessed only after they happen in the viewer by checking the availability of the player for the following game. If you check at the beginning of the game, everyone is available, after the injury the injured player will show as red and unavailable. I'm not sure what to make of that.

It would be ok dude if BB is a Online Basketball Game, what i mean with online is not some Just Simulator Browser Game. It would be unfair for those who is not a fan of Watching Games live because you have the power to counter his Game. It would be like , A trap for the prey or something. Lol. The game would only be more realistic if the in-game ref will call for 24 shot clock violation, Technical , Flagrant , 8 seconds half-court , back court violation . Defensive and offensive 3 sec and 5 seconds inbound . Lol . And also the Literally Garbage Time (garbaging your line-up and tactics) so your opponent can sometimes take over the game or cutting your huge lead to Single digits (specially on Big Games)

Mr Miner states the reason this can't happen perfectly.

One way this could work, and be okay for managers who aren't online, would be to offer a change in tactics 'decision tree' at halftime. I state this full well knowing it would be probably too complicated to implement, but just for fun, it'd go like:

Starting Tactic - Look Inside
Halftime, if Look Inside is GDP'd by other team - Switch to Motion
or
Halftime, if losing game by X amount - Switch to Run n Gun, FCP

etc...

It should be possible to simulate this with minimal effort though: just treat the 2 halves as different games, where the second half uses different stamina and different tactics.

If you allow this only at halftime it should be manageable, it's not as complicated as hattrick's conditional substitutions and tactical changes...
