Just make a pool with 150 draftees or so. Put in 4/5 pot players.. Still 3 rounds. Players who did not get picked dont become pro.

This way, when picking earlier, you get a real chance to draft a franchise-player. And picking middle also get a better chance and more fun in the draft. It wont be guaranteed, bc you have to scout more players, but with a good investment in draftpoints and longterm planning it will make it possible to draft the player you want to carry your franchise..

Make it tougher, more possible..Not impossible and annoying most of the time. And yes im overreacting a bit. But its clear the current draft is only fun for bottom teams and even for them a big failure with an 18-7.

Im aware to many 9/10 pot will have a bad impact on market etc. Just make the pool of players that big its not easy but possible to draft 1..

I think this is a good plan. Especially with the implication that by having more possible draftees, more money will be spent on scouting and taken out of the game/market. +1 to you!

I have 1757 players for sale and I'm $25,835,360 in debt. Buy them at outrageous prices, or be selfish and make me go bankrupt. You decide, BB.

Why produce even more junk data? The amount of useless players needs to be decreased not the other way around. I guess like 98% of the players in the database are inactive, retired or bot players - what a waste.

I think it's more realistic, I like it. It also adds value to investing your money in draft points.
Regarding the database issues or whatever, if these guys don't become pro, then they will vanish forever so no problems there....
There are the same amount of players in the database at the end of the draft.

Same here.

I'd rather have a pool of extremely talented players, with a wide range of TSP. That way every player would be trainable, but still not all of them would become super good, because there are only that many training slots.

This would also remove a lot of frustration from managers that did not get a good rookie AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN.

Or give us freaking youth squads. That would be super cool. There are no good U23 players on DIV 1 teams anyways - fill the lower leagues with developmental teams instead.

If anything i would like to have a more slim pool but with higher quality. A LOT more Allstar potential players and a heap more star potential and also more P.allstar. Make the increase in these potentials from the lower potential pool so that everything under star potential is almost as rare as the higher end. But also make the lower potential players slightly more likely to be better when drafted so that they can be useful still.

This is really accurate. I feel like most of the draftees are 1-4 potential and that is simply not true in real life. Obviously, that does not mean the draft should be filled with MVPs, but it should be filled with 6-7 potential players.

Plus, we could have just two draft picks, we don't really need three crappy picks

But if you overfill the draft with 6-7 potential players, it just means it becomes useless to scout them because you could just pick one up off the transfer list after the draft for super cheap.
