Hello everyone. This was an election cycle that I had originally not given much thought about. I was more concerned about my own team's affairs. But there was evidence to suggest that Mickyster was only in the running out of obligation rather than actual desire, and recent comments by him and others on the forum have convinced me to enter the election race myself.

Back in early 2012, I began to have an increased level of interest in the sport of Basketball in general, and this would eventually lead me here when I was looking for an online manager near the end of March, during the all-star break of season 19 in-game. Fast forward to the end of 2016, and it has just dawned on me that I have been a part of BuzzerBeater for almost half of the game's existence.

In those 17 and a half seasons that I've been playing, I've amassed a formidable roster with a combination of financial planning, and luck. Sometimes you need luck to succeed in any manager game, like the time I drafted Luka Cicvaric out of a bot league. But sometimes you make your own luck in this game, and I believe I have done that on several occasions also.

The net result for myself so far has been two ABBL titles with a serious B3 campaign coming up, pending on how kind the draw is to me. So I'm ticking all the boxes when it comes to club level accomplishments. By my own admission, I do sometimes suffer for laziness, and this led to a lack of proper updates during the world championship portion of my previous run as NT coach.

However, you can see that I am looking to revive the national forums this season, and I believe that as long as I keep my NT updates and match reports short this time, I can keep on top of things community wise instead of letting it slip this time.

My previous stint started in a similar situation to this one. Mickyster had put in a great stint of his own to secure HCA for the Asian Championship, and from there I managed to steer the team to the title victory. I feel like I could've done better in the World Championship however and this is something I'll be aiming to do if we get there this time. Which we should do, but the season 35 loss I took to rimmers in the ABBL play-offs has taught me not to take any wins for granted.

I'm sure that Grullo is a great manager in his own right, and I hope he doesn't hold this one against me should I end up winning the election. But I just have a feeling that most of the nation would prefer to keep the NT manager job inside the country...
