During my game last night, I was up 23 points going into the 4th quarter. As per usual, all my bench players are playing during the 4th quarter. Long story short, the other team goes on a run, and my starters don't come in until we only have a 10 point lead and we end up losing the game in OT.

While this sort of thing happens in reality some times, I feel like it's still a bit unrealistic for the coach not to bring in the starters sooner. I was thinking it would make sense for the coach to automatically call a timeout once the point differential is small enough that he wouldn't put the bench players in to begin with (I think it's around 20 points). Timeouts seem to be very underused in this game to begin with and I think this change, though small, would prevent the better team from losing as often in this specific situation.

Its also weird that your team only scored 1 point in OT.

This has happened to me several times, and it is very uncool.
If garbage time starts when you are up by 20+, then it should end, forcibly with a timeout if needed, when the lead is cut back to 18 or 16. Waiting all the way until it's only a 10 point lead is a ridiculous component of the game engine.
