It appears I've forgotten what it's like to be in a competitive league again after a long absence from the second division. Two games, two overtimes in what looks to be a pretty competitive league. I'd have happily taken a 1-1 record looking at my schedule, but I might struggle with my minute management if this keeps up!

So, how's everybody (or anybody) doing and what are you hopes for this season?

I still have a fairly new account so my salary floor grace period doesn't end until late May, I'm keeping my salaries low and pumping money into my arena for the future because I know I can't compete right now. My other plans include training my youngsters (which reminds me, what are the differences between training 1on1 Guards and 1on1 Forwards?) and investing in this seasons draft - I'll definitely be getting a good pick!

One on one for guards trains handling, driving, and jump shot, whereas the same training for forwards trains all of those plus inside shooting. Normal recommendation is to train one on one forwards because in every offence everyone will still take inside shots, so everyone needs at least some IS, and this is the most efficient training as training inside shot doesn't give as much training overall.

Ah from reading bits on the forums I thought that was the case, thanks for clarification!

How is our U21 team looking this season?

That's a difficult question to answer after one week, but I'm happy with the squad so far. No one under 70 tsp, and some decent defending in among all that.
