At what age do you consider someone too old to train? Ive got a 27 year old guard who i dont plan on spending much training time on, but he's a important player for my team. If i could get a few key bumps on passing and outside defence he would be quite serviceable tell my younger players train up to his spot.

The problem is the slower training speed. You have many other younger players who could use those training minutes and get a lot more value. Most of your other players would get twice the amount of pops and be better players at the same age.
