What other ways are there to create more steals?
-Defensive setup (zone vs man for games)
-Rotation/Stamina (If you have fresh players in the game at all times, they will play better defense and generally get more steals)
As for just looking at the individual player, it's mainly OD and a little bit ID. Also just wanted to note that Shot-blocking can be just as beneficial as steals and also leads to quick points at the other end, so high shot-blocking skills on players can lead to the success you want as well.
