Hello everyone, as we all know buzzerbeater players population past 5 seasons is not increasing as we all want to be.. so i thought, why not to create buzzerbeater app? In nowadays it's very useful thing to raise game popularity, and 21 century people is very lazy to use web browsers. So dear managers what do you think about this idea? It is possible to come true or no, and too expensive?

Second idea to the future: to create loan's system, i don't know how, and when, but it should be very useful for new teams, i only know that this system should be very smart maded, to avoid cheating possibility and loans should be limited and given by team rating, power or something lime that.

Waiting for your opinions about that, thank you for attention!

We should have an app! First of all it would make the game more friendly to play at a cellphone - and lets face it: the majority of users use their smartphone to play. Secondly the game would get exposure on app store and google play which would help attract new users. Also, an app with notifications would help to keep people in the game, as they would be reminded to log in.
To me an app is a no-brainer.

The app has been suggested a good number of times and it's becoming a must as every year more and more people are shifting to not using a computer at all and this is certainly not mobile friendly.

I agree, an app could be interesting, but developing/maintening an Android and a iOS app would cost a lot of time/money.

I think that developing a new web interface would be more interesting because it will improve user experience both on PC and smartphone.

I understand that the cost could be too much for the BB team, but maybe we could ask the community.

For example, I am a developer so I could help to develop a new web interface or an Android app if that the choice made by the BB team. I am not familiar with objective C so I am not sure to be very useful on the iOS app.

I agree, have someone from the community who is skilled in app development work on it. You'd be surprised how many developers would be willing to help design an app especially if it is for a game which they are passionate about. Grab many people who are willing to help, put them into a discord and create a github repo. See how far their efforts can go without the need of hiring someone.

On the flip side, if we start up a community fund for the app where the goal is displayed on the webpage and people can choose to directly fund it. Then, once that goal is reached (whether it be $500 or $1000) you can pay a developer and progress on the app can start.

2x NBBA Champion: S55, S56. 3x USA Cup Champion: S54, S55, S56. WR for longest home streak ever at 11 in Season 47.

I'm not a developer at all, but if the community were asked I'd be happy to help with anything I could

Everyone is so locked in on Apps(for iphone, android) that you forget the cheaper alternative; a responsive new website.
It would be accessible with a phone, tablets, small desktops or big desktops, and no extra fees(as in apps)
It would take some time, but a new design along with making the game (more) available on mobile devices would greatly enhance the game. Updates will also be much easier, keeping the code in ONE version, not three...

I know that there are advantages with apps, with Push and so on, but to keep the costs down AND still make the game (more) playable on mobile devices is not a bad tradeoff!

But its not done overnight, I know... I do work with web development actually.
Buzzerbeater could use a facelift, it's about time.

A BB App would be the best option but I agree that the cost of development would limit the potential. However, making this site mobile friendly is a good start that would eventually lead to the funding of a full mobile app in the future.
