Just wanna know your opinion about this tactic. I see often guards playing as centers doing tons of points so my personal point of view is that patient at least is not well balanced, what do you think?

Poll:  Patient = bug?

Yes
No

Why should it be a bug mate, patient is a tactic where your best shooter in team take the most shoots, simple as that.

Cheers!

This is where we hold them!

I simply consider the tactic far from the reality in a game that always wanted to be near the real basketball.
With this tactic you can easily see a rookie boosted in shots scored 40 points against players with 200k of salary well skilled everywhere. So I know how this tactic works but it is imho bad balanced.

It's hard to make a truly realistic basketball game that doesn't have ingame adjustments.

What kind of coach after seeing one player torch them all game long, wouldn't just automatically switch your best defender onto him? Or double him? Or deny him the ball? Any number of tactics. BB is fairly unrealistic when it comes to being comparable to basketball

BB is what BB is! I have fun with it

Amen! That's exactly what I think about BB! +1000

I think 3-2 would be preferable to any defensive kind of tactic where you manage to get the man to man and your defender is so good he will contest most shots. In a 3-2 the load is distributed across the team, you run the risk of a high foul count but usually not against a Patient. If you manage to mtm the scorer with a good defender, then you have 2 problems: a) Patient would go to another, more advantageous match up; b) Your defender will have to defend a lot of shots. What happens if he fouls out because of that?

It's unfortunate, Patient is not exactly a great offense by any measure. The problem is: when you have to play trainees out of position, you will have starters playing out of position too. So you might as well take advantage of the bad situation if you can and Patient allow you to do it sometimes.
