Picked up a scrub for scrimmage
Just before I fired him I noticed it said this
Players like him have been selling for around $ 2 000 to $ 800 000

If you bought a scrub for a scrimmage, chances are he's worthless.
Sounds like someone transferred money from one team to another with a player around the same age, skill set and salary.
