This is like a statistical question:

How long usually your trainer stays in your team before you get pissed off of his high salary and replace him with a new one?

10 weeks, 20 weeks, 1 season, 2 seasons etc. ?

It depends on the level of the trainer you have. When you are buying superior level or higher, the initial cost to buy in might mean that you need to keep him for a while. If you are spending a million or higher to buy in, it would be foolish to not keep him. My general rule with advanced trainers are to keep them until they double their initial salary. They are generally easier to maintain to fire and rehire another.
